Dating back to C11 this church has undergone many changes as the population of St Helier increased, the first C12 when it was transformed into a cross shaped church with the addition of a choir, nave and two transepts. In C13 a chapel was added and during C19 the whole church was renovated. It is the official seat of the Dean of Jersey. The church is situated adjacent to Royal Square and the Royal Courts.
